Drumming Together While the WSU's Lowell D. Holmes Anthropology Museum shared the ancient history of the Maasai people and their craft to create necklaces, WAU shared a perspective on the African people and their culture today. The Arts remain a very important part of the African village and its people. 2025 WAU Community Christmas Party
Wichita African Union (WAU) hosted its very first community Christmas party on December 5, 2025, at University Congregational church. The party was a result of a Food Security program funded by Kansas Health Foundation as part of the Hunger Free Kansas Mini Grants awarded July 2025.
