We Were on Capitol Hill with ONE to Raise Awareness

We were privileged to be a part of the ‘2026 ONE POWER SUMMIT’ by ONE Campaign Advocacy at the Washington Plaza Hotel, September 13-14 and meetings on Capitol Hill on the 15th. In our capacities as individual Africans, sponsored by ONE, we partnered with ONE Campaign to tell first-hand stories why Congressional Leaders should support funding for life saving programs: The Global Fund, PEPFAR and Gavi, the vaccine alliance, and for economic development programs, and asking Congress to provide oversight to make sure that already appropriated funds are spent as intended. These initiatives save millions of lives across African.

ONE supports healthier lives and economic opportunities for Africa. ONE’s Young Professionals Program sounds like a great tool for making progress.
