Sponsorship Opportunity for the 13th WAU Annual Celebration

Wichita African Union is inviting you all to the 13th Annual Celebration on September 5, 2026, Labor Day weekend. We are excited to host the event with our partners side by side, together creating positive change in our community; promoting educational excellence, outreach programs and collaborating with like-minded organizations.
We are sharing with you an opportunity for individuals, businesses, organizations, foundations and corporations to partner with Wichita African Union as cash or in-kind sponsors and donors. Donations can be of any amount for WAU Scholarship Fund. We have awarded 23 scholarships between 2018 and 2025. This year we hope we can award four scholarships of $1,000 each in order to make a significant impact, but it depends on how much we can raise. The following are the levels for sponsorship for the event:
Platinum - $10,000
Gold - $7,500
Silver - $5,000
Bronze - $2,500 from Kansas Health Foundation
- $2,500 Value of Event Promotion by KMUW 89.1 Wichita, NPR.
WAU Friend - $1,000
All sponsors will be given a full table of 8, recognition during the event, advertisement before, during and after the event, get served food first plus others perks yet to be defined.
