Drumming at Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Charity Night ‘Festival of Nations’

On March 2nd, 2024, we represented the continent of Africa at a fundraiser ‘Festival of Nations’ for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, held at Plymouth Congregational Church in Wichita, Kansas. We received an invitation to participate in the fundraiser performances, specifically drumming. We responded to that invitation by attending the event. Dr. Daisy performed Storytelling and the drumming. The kids as seen in the video below loved the drumming and immediately joined the act with great excitement. We initiated the African tradition of throwing dollar bills to acknowledge a good performance and encouraged the audience to do the same.

The money raised from the drumming performance was given to the fundraiser as a collective donation. That was a great global village gathering.
