Members of Wichita African Union (WAU) attended two Black History Month activities on February 23rd (Celebrating Black Athletes & Entertainers) and February 28th (African American Heritage night at Woodland Health & Wellness Magnet Elementary School in Wichita, KS.). The event at Woodland school was attended by students, families and staff. We shared with the audience about Africa and its culture through story telling, music, language and dance. Here are some pictures from both events and one from a program presented by Dr. Daisy at Grant Chapel church. We are very appreciative for the chance to participate in Black History Month activities.

WAU Members attended Black History Program "Looking Back and Moving Forward" presented by Dr. Daisy on February 23, 2025.
