The Very First Proclamation Experience for WAU Happened at the 12th WAU Annual Event, August 30th, 2025, Read & Delivered by The Mayor of the City of Wichita, Mayor Lily Wu.

Thank you, Mayor Lily Wu and the Wichita City Council, for issuing the proclamation that WAU requested. We as members of the organization felt very honored. Here in the video below was the beautiful delivery of it, by the mayor. As the mayor read the proclamation, and as we listened, word by word, it sounded so real and inspiring to do more. Thank you!
